More Oklahomans die every year from heart disease than citizens of any other state. The heart health crisis in Oklahoma could not be more serious and that is why INTEGRIS Health is on a mission to address it.
We have always had the best medical experts, including cardiologists, cardiothoracic and transplant surgeons, rehab therapists, clinical educators, nurses and other bedside care teams. Now we are building a state-of-the-art heart hospital, so our facilities better match the high levels of expertise and compassion that INTEGRIS Health is known for, and all services are together under one roof.
Gifts to the INTEGRIS Health Foundation’s heart funds support essential projects like state-of-the-art recovery bays in the new INTEGRIS Health Heart Hospital that allow caregivers to monitor patients during recovery closely. Having this new space provides outstanding care and greater patient satisfaction. Other projects include a patient assistance fund to ensure cardiac rehabilitation sessions are available to those who could not otherwise afford it and vital equipment for advanced care at INTEGRIS Health Heart Hospital, Oklahoma’s only heart and lung transplant center.
