Shift Work Disorder

Affects people who work outside of normal daytime hours.

Shift work disorder is a sleep disorder that affects people who frequently rotate shifts or work at night. Because the schedules of people who work at night go against the body’s natural circadian rhythm, it causes difficulty adjusting to the different sleep and wake schedules.
