Advanced Imaging

When you’re suffering from problems related to your nerves, brain or spinal cord (collectively called your nervous system), your doctor may need to perform advanced tests and imaging of different parts of your nervous system. These can help your doctor narrow down the list of possible problems and reach a more accurate diagnosis. At INTEGRIS Health, our board-certified neuroradiologists bring not only extensive experience in performing the most advanced imaging, they also bring a gentle, warm touch to help you feel comfortable and at ease.

Neuroradiology Imaging includes:

  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI): This procedure uses large magnets, radiofrequencies and a computer to produce detailed images of organs and structures within your body.
  • Computed Tomography (CT) Scans: A diagnostic imaging procedure that uses X-rays and computer technology to make horizontal, or axial, images (often called slices) of the body or head. CT scans show more detail than standard X-rays.
  • X-Ray: Uses invisible electromagnetic energy beams to produce images of internal tissues, bones, and organs onto film.
  • Ultrasound: The use of high-frequency sound waves to create real-time images of the structures inside your body.
