This Mother’s Day Lakeside Women’s Hospital INTEGRIS Health is celebrating a joyful “baby boom” within its own labor and delivery team. Twelve caregivers have recently welcomed new additions to their families, with four more expecting arrivals by the end of the year.
This special moment highlights the deep connection these health care professionals have to the care they provide every day. From guiding families through childbirth to now experiencing those same milestones themselves, these team members bring an added level of empathy, insight and compassion to their roles.
“We are absolutely thrilled for our team,” said Whitney Palmer, assistant chief nursing officer at Lakeside Women’s Hospital. “Our labor and delivery caregivers dedicate themselves to supporting families during one of life’s most meaningful experiences. To now celebrate that same journey within our own team makes this especially meaningful.”
The 16 caregivers in the baby boom represent a range of roles across the women’s center, including nurses, technicians and support staff. Their shared experience has created an atmosphere of excitement and camaraderie, with colleagues eagerly supporting one another both professionally and personally.
“This moment reflects the strong culture of teamwork and compassion within our women’s center,” said Palmer. “We’re proud to celebrate these milestones this Mother’s Day with our team and are excited for all that’s ahead for them and their growing families.”
Lakeside Women’s Hospital INTEGRIS Health continues to provide comprehensive maternity and newborn services, focusing on safety, comfort and family-centered care.
