The admissions process
At Arcadia Trails, we know that timing is everything. It’s vitally important to begin treatment as soon you’re willing and able. No outside referral is necessary, but if you’d like professional help or intervention resources, please contact us.
The Arcadia Trails treatment program begins with a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, where our clinicians and team members get to know patients in-depth, helping our team recommend the appropriate level of care to meet patient needs and develop a genuinely individualized treatment plan.
Some patients undergo medically supervised detoxification if it is clinically required. Withdrawals can be the first major obstacle in substance use disorder treatment, so we remain with the patient throughout. This typically occurs at Arcadia Trails but can involve the medical campus of INTEGRIS Health Edmond if necessary.
At this point, patients are welcomed into the specific Arcadia Trails program that meets their individual needs. Here they make new friends, have an assigned therapist, and begin therapy – both one-on-one and in various groups.

As patients meet recovery milestones, achieve treatment goals, and progress through treatment, they will transition into a less intense treatment program and will begin to apply recovery skills in their daily living. Arcadia Trails offers a phased approach that is aligned with the chronic nature of substance use disorders and which supports a progression from clinically managed services to self-management of one’s own recovery.
As patients move towards self-management of their recovery, Arcadia Trails will continue to provide support through various tools for engagement and continued participation in recovery activities. Patients will find their individual pathway to recovery and we will be there to support it.
Once patients complete all levels of recommended care, the person will apply the acquired recovery skills needed to manage their own condition. They will engage in fellowship with support groups, will have a recovery network, and will reach out and help others.
