INTEGRIS Health History

INTEGRIS Health was formed in 1995 as the result of a merger between Oklahoma Health System and Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma Health System itself was a new organization formed one year earlier from a merger between Oklahoma Healthcare Corporation (Baptist Medical Center’s parent company) and Baptist Healthcare of Oklahoma.

Through its affiliates, INTEGRIS Health operates 16 hospitals, led in the Oklahoma City area by INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center and INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center.

  • INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center: Opened Easter Sunday, 1959 as a 200-bed hospital, INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center has grown to a 508-bed facility offering comprehensive health-care programs and services.
  • INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center: A vital and growing part of the Oklahoma City community since its beginning in 1965. This 369 bed comprehensive medical center offers a full range of medical, support and rehabilitation services.
  • INTEGRIS Health Canadian Valley Hospital: Opened as a community acute care facility on November 9, 2001 and offers a full range of diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services.
  • INTEGRIS Health Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation: Jim Thorpe at INTEGRIS Health Southwest has 60 inpatient beds, while Jim Thorpe at INTEGRIS Health Baptist has 43 inpatient beds. Through team-based personal care, patients benefit from the expertise of professionals specially trained in rehabilitation.
  • INTEGRIS Health Mental Health Spencer: An affiliate of INTEGRIS Health, IMH offers a complete family of services provided by highly-qualified care professionals in inpatient, outpatient, and clinical settings.
  • INTEGRIS Health Edmond: Opened October 3, 2011 as Edmond's only Oklahoma owned, not-for-profit hospital. Services include Edmond's largest Emergency Department, Women's Center, 40-bed Medical/Surgical Unit and Intensive Care Unit.
  • INTEGRIS Health Enid Hospital: Includes 207 licensed beds throughout three facilities and has served the Enid area longer than any other general hospital.
  • INTEGRIS Health Miami Hospital: INTEGRIS Health Baptist Regional Health Center is licensed for 123 beds provides a host of inpatient and outpatient services.
  • INTEGRIS Health Grove Hospital: INTEGRIS Health Grove Hospital is a 58-bed full-service hospital with intensive care unit rooms, private medical-surgical rooms, a large comprehensive women’s health center, an expanded cardiac catheterization lab, a comprehensive radiology department and four operating rooms.
  • INTEGRIS Health Ponca City Hospital: formerly with AllianceHealth.
  • INTEGRIS Health Woodward Hospital: formerly with AllianceHealth.
