Ahel El Haj Chehade, M.D., is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care medicine physician.
He received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Health in Staten Island, New York. He also completed two fellowships – one in pulmonary and critical care medicine and another in sleep medicine at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. El Haj Chehade lives in Oklahoma City.
"It is very rewarding to take care of patients in their most difficult times in the intensive care unit and then to be able to follow them in the clinic to help improve their health. It is very gratifying being able to form and maintain a long-term relationship with my patients."
Dr. Chehade enjoys watching and going to Thunder games. He also enjoys biking (around Hefner or Arcadia trails), hiking, swimming, outdoor activities and keeping an active lifestyle. He loves reading and staying up-to-date with medical literature.
