Ananth Srinivasan, M.D.

Ananth Srinivasan, M.D., specializes in the transplantation of the liver, kidney and pancreas.

Dr. Srinivasan was born and raised in Chennai, India where he completed his medical education at Madras Medical College, one of the oldest and most reputed institutions in Asia. He went on to complete his general surgery residency training at Creighton University, in Omaha. There he developed an interest in transplantation and complex hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery and went on to specialize in the same at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale. He is board-certified by the American Board of surgery. He is also a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons.

His field of surgical expertise includes transplantation of liver, kidney and pancreas. He also performs complex abdominal operations on liver, pancreas and the biliary tract. This includes surgeries for both benign and malignant conditions.

Interest include clinical outcomes following liver and kidney transplantation, use of extended criteria donors, ischemia reperfusion injury and HPB surgery.
