Dr. Srinivasan was born and raised in Chennai, India where he completed his medical education at Madras Medical College, one of the oldest and most reputed institutions in Asia. He went on to complete his general surgery residency training at Creighton University, in Omaha. There he developed an interest in transplantation and complex hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery and went on to specialize in the same at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale.
