Casey Carr, M.D., is a critical care physician with INTEGRIS Health Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute
Born and raised in Florida, he earned his medical degree from Florida International University and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He then pursued fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine at the University of Florida.
Dr. Carr joins INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center as part of the Specialty Critical Care and Mechanical Circulatory Support Service. Prior to joining INTEGRIS, he served as an assistant professor within the Department Emergency Medicine and Division of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Florida, where he led initiatives in cardiac arrest resuscitation, mechanical ventilation education, and extracorporeal support.
His clinical interests include cardiac arrest management, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), mechanical circulatory support, and critical care ultrasound. He is an active researcher and educator with publications and national presentations in advanced resuscitation and post-cardiac arrest care.
