Christopher D. Carey, M.D., FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon and Medical Director for INTEGRIS General Surgery.
Dr. Carey received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2004 and completed his general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., in 2011.
Carey received the Harwell Wilson Award at Vanderbilt for the chief resident who epitomizes the ideals of dedication to patient care, research and teaching. He is certified in the fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery, advanced laparoscopic hernia surgery and robotics surgery.
Carey is a member of the Vanderbilt Medical Center Scott’s Society, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and Southeastern Surgical Society.
Carey grew up in eastern Oklahoma. He and his wife, Deanna have two children, Conner and Kilyn.
