David A. Neumann II, M.D., is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

He joined his father, David A. Neumann I, M.D., in practice at Digestive Disease Specialists in 2013.  Dr. Neumann earned his bachelor’s degree and medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI.

Dr. Neumann II cares for patients with diseases of the digestive system, including stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. He performs routine endoscopic procedures including upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy, as well as advanced endoscopic procedures including radiofrequency ablation of Barrett’s esophagus, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS).

Dr. Neumann II also offers the patented CRH-O’Regan Disposable Hemorrhoid Banding System in his practice. This procedure treats internal hemorrhoids causing painless rectal bleeding and can be done in his office, without surgery or pain.

Dr. Neumann II has published several abstracts and papers in medical journals and has presented abstracts at major national meetings. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
