Deniz Aktas, PA-C, PhD, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in neurology at INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Neurology Rivendell.
Deniz earned her Master of Health Science from the University of Oklahoma Physician Associate Program in Oklahoma City. Before beginning her clinical career, she completed a PhD in Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Oklahoma. She also holds a Master of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Orta Dogu Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. Her extensive scientific background allows her to combine evidence-based medicine with compassionate, patient-centered care.
She has a special interest in headache medicine and is passionate about helping patients who have spent years struggling with migraines and other complex headache disorders find lasting relief. Many of her patients come to her feeling frustrated, discouraged and unheard after searching for answers. Deniz is dedicated to listening to each patient's story, helping them understand their condition and developing individualized treatment plans that restore hope and improve quality of life.

Deniz lives in Oklahoma with her family and their cat, Mavi. Outside of work, she enjoys slowing down with her loved ones, expressing her creativity through oil and acrylic painting and loom weaving, and relaxing with a good movie. These hobbies provide balance and help her bring renewed energy and focus to caring for her patients.
