Evan S. Fene, M.D.

Evan S. Fene, M.D., is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center Portland Avenue.

Dr. Fene attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and received fellowship training at the University of Colorado in Aurora. He is dedicated to treating patients suffering from debilitating neck or back pain that affects their daily lives.

"I approach patient care with the same respect and empathy I would want for myself or my loved ones. I believe it's essential for patients to be well-informed and actively involved in their treatment decisions. Although I'm a surgeon, I prioritize exploring non-surgical treatments for spine conditions before considering surgery. My approach involves collaborating with patients to identify the root cause of their pain and exploring conservative methods to manage their symptoms initially. If those options do not provide relief, I then consider surgery to help alleviate their discomfort and restore their ability to engage in the activities they enjoy."
