Dr. Hamid Sima is the Director of Hepatology and Medical Director of the Liver Transplantation Program at INTEGRIS Health Nazih Zuldi Transplant Institute in Oklahoma City.
Dr. Hamid Sima is triple American board-certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Transplant Hepatology. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City followed by his Transplant Hepatology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.
Dr. Sima is also an adjunct clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Oklahoma State University. He has an extensive research background and is the author of many publications on fatty liver, Hepatitis C, and liver transplantation. Dr. Sima has also received several honors and awards. He is currently a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of several other professional organizations, including the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, American Society of Transplantation, European Association of the Study of the Liver, American Gastroenterology Association, and American College of Gastroenterology.
