Hayley Hudson, D.O., M.S., specializes in family medicine, serving patients of all ages.
Dr. Hudson grew up in southern Illinois wanting to be a doctor since she was in elementary school. After high school she earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University, and then earned her M.S. in Inorganic Synthetic Chemistry from Western Illinois University. After teaching university–level chemistry for a couple years, she attended medical school at Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, KY. Dr. Hudson completed residency in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, IL.
Dr. Hudson chose to practice medicine because she loves connecting with people over the common goal of promoting the natural tendencies of self-healing and personal health. She loves to see patients of all ages and is happy to offer full scope primary care.
"As an osteopathic physician, I firmly believe that each person is a blend of body, mind, and spirit. Additionally, regardless of why my patients need to see me, I try to maintain a respect for each of them and ‘meet them where they are’ regarding their illness, treatment, and care. Personally, I also feel you can’t fully promote healthcare without shared decision making. Consequently, I believe in taking enough time with each patient to learn how I can best provide them with appropriate options regarding their health care. To the extent possible, and in addition to their treatment, I hope to facilitate patient autonomy by helping them set and reach attainable healing and fitness goals."
In Dr. Hudson’s free time, you might see her spending time running around Enid with her husband and son, training for her next race, practicing yoga, or casually strolling a local farmers market finding inspiration for dinner.
