John H. Barghols, M.D., is a general neurologist who specializes in stroke and other neurological emergencies.
He graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2012 and completed his neurology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in June of 2016. He developed an interest in neurology when he began volunteering for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in 2001. During his neurology residency he became a member of the American Academy of Neurology and published research in the areas of stroke prevention and electrodiagnostic testing.
Dr. Barghols enjoys collaborating with emergency medicine physicians and internists to provide superior treatment to patients with disorders of the brain, spine, nerves, and muscles.
