John Kingrey, M.D., is the director of the INTEGRIS Health Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) center of Oklahoma, a Pulmonary Hypertension Association nationally accredited Pulmonary Hypertension Care Center (PHCC). Along with his dedicated staff, Dr. Kingrey has built a PH center of excellence since arriving in Oklahoma with his wife and three daughters in 2014.
As a native Ohioan, he shares the 'down-to-earth' values embodied by Oklahomans. His primary focus will always be putting the patient first. Proof positive of his passion for PH is the way he treats his patients. His treatment of the disease includes all available therapies and many clinical research trials, but his treatment of the person is what he values more than anything. Living with PH is a tough, exhausting journey, and Dr Kingrey has built Oklahoma’s only comprehensive PH center to make sure patients and their families are well supported and successful.
Trained at St Louis University (medical school), University of Cincinnati (Internal Medicine Residency/Chief Residency) and The Ohio State University (Pulmonary, Critical Care and Pulmonary Hypertension fellowship), Dr. Kingrey has been instructed by a diverse and talented group of health care professionals. He now pays that experience forward not only in what he provides his patients, but also serves as an active educator of pulmonary hypertension to patient and physician audiences locally and around the country. He presents at international conferences on PH and contributes to development of new PH therapies through active clinical research. Additionally, Dr. Kingrey founded Oklahoma’s largest fundraiser for the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, the Right Heart Fight.
Dr Kingrey loves his faith, his family and his football (Go Bucks!) and looks forward to helping you.
