Joshua Payne, M.D., MPH, is a board certified cardiac electrophysiologist providing innovative treatment for patients with heart rhythm disorders.
He attended medical school and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Oklahoma. He then completed fellowships in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Missouri and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Payne specializes in catheter ablation for a wide range of conditions including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, premature ventricular contractions, and ventricular tachycardia. He also an expert implanter of pacemakers and defibrillators as well as left atrial appendage occlusion devices.
He has a particular interest in physiologic pacing and in treating ventricular tachycardia in patients with advanced heart failure.
