Michael McLaughlin, D.O., is a board-certified and fellowship-trained interventional pain management specialist in Oklahoma City.
Dr. McLaughlin graduated with honors from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, OK. After medical school, he completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Oklahoma where he served as chief resident. He furthered his education in interventional pain management with fellowship training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX.
Dr. McLaughlin specializes in the treatment of back pain, neck pain, joint pain, cancer pain, and complex regional pain syndromes. He performs minimally invasive interventional procedures utilizing fluoroscopic and ultrasound guidance. This includes epidural injections, nerve blocks, selective nerve root blocks, radiofrequency nerve ablation, sympathetic blocks, spinal cord stimulation and intrathecal procedures. His goal is to improve a patient’s function and overall quality of life using a balanced approach including appropriate procedures, optimal medical management, and addressing psychological well-being.
Dr. McLaughlin sees patients at our INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Multispecialty Clinic, in Edmond, two days a week.
