Michael Megaly, M.D., MS

Michael Megaly, M.D., MS is an experienced interventional cardiologist at INTEGRIS Health Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Megaly specializes in complex coronary interventions, chronic total occlusions, and complex peripheral artery interventions and limb salvage.

Dr. Megaly earned his medical degree at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, and continued his education at the Minneapolis Heart Institute and HCMC in Minnesota, where he completed his Cardiology training. He then completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix. Dr. Megaly further specialized in complex coronary and chronic total occlusion interventions at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, one of only five such programs in the United States.

His dedication to his field is recognized by his fellowships with the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Coronary Angiography and Interventions. He continued to share this knowledge as a clinical assistant professor at the Department of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa.

Dr. Megaly's commitment to advancing the field of interventional cardiology is evident in his extensive research contributions. He has led numerous research projects, authored or co-authored over 170 scientific papers, and contributed to multiple chapters in books on interventional cardiology and chronic total occlusion interventions.

His expertise is sought after by several prestigious interventional cardiology journals, where he serves as an associate board member, editor, and peer reviewer. Dr. Megaly's influence extends beyond the written word, as he has been a featured presenter, faculty member, and expert panelist at multiple renowned interventional cardiology conferences.
