Nitin Chanana, M.D., is board-certified in both pediatric cardiology and general pediatrics with the American Board of Pediatrics.
He completed a pediatric residency at Columbia University, NY and Pediatric and Fetal Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Utah. He has served as an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech School of Medicine.
He has expertise and special interest in managing fetuses, children and adults with complex congenital heart disease, especially single-ventricle patients. He co-manages children with heart transplant centers for their pre-and-post heart transplant care.
Dr. Chanana is married to Sushila, an obstetrician, gynecologist and infertility specialist at The Oklahoma University College of Medicine. Together they have two children, nine-year-old son, Parin, and three-year-old daughter, Ishita. Outside of work, Dr. Chanana loves biking, hiking, playing basketball and reading books with his kids.
