Roy Warren Bankhead, M.D.

Roy Bankhead, M.D., is a board-certified urologist who has helped thousands of patients achieve a better quality of life with bladder, kidney, urological and sexual health therapies and treatments.

Dr. Bankhead specializes in complex stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia, bladder control, hormone therapies, and robotic and minimally invasive surgery. He offers quality, convenient treatment and diagnosis of a wide scope of urologic conditions for both men & women. Dr. Bankhead constantly seeks training to extend cutting edge treatments to his patients.

He is certified in the da Vinci Robotic Training Program at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, and has been certified in the Cryosurgery Training Program for Prostate and Kidney Cancer at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

He has participated in many clinical trials and extensive health studies.

His kind demeanor and gentle bedside manner makes it easy to talk with him about life's most sensitive conditions.

He is a leader in the Oklahoma City community and is engaged with Oklahoma Urologic Therapies LLC, and American Urological Association. He is active in the Oklahoma medical community.

Throughout his career, Dr. Bankhead's practice philosophy has been "treat the whole patient". He understands that urological health concerns have many consequences that involve emotional issues, sexual concerns, internal health and much more. He wants each of his patients to have the same kind of care that he extends to his favorite family members. Dr. Bankhead shares life with his beautiful wife and two young sons. When he's not with patients, you might find him playing a round of golf or grilling in the backyard with his family.
