To the community, INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Cross Timbers seems like another convenient, reliable INTEGRIS Health clinic. However, what Oklahomans might not know is that this clinic is the first of the newest INTEGRIS Health Medical Group clinic model that transforms the traditional visit to the doctor.
The model, referred to in the health care industry as On-Stage/Off-Stage, denotes a shift towards patient comfort and efficiency, where the reception area and exam room are accessible to patients and family members, while the behind the scenes and “working” areas of the clinic are kept sight unseen.
Patients still wait in a reception area, but then are quickly guided to an exam room through a hallway designated only for patient use and specific to their Care Team. Physicians, advanced practice providers and caregivers instead utilize hallways, meeting rooms, offices, desks and collaborative spaces that are not visible to patients. This design is extremely beneficial to both patients and caregivers in three ways:

INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Cross Timbers physicians’ provide complete care for families, including primary care clinic services such as annual exams, immunizations and well-child checks. The On-Stage/Off-Stage model will become the new standard design for all future INTEGRIS Health Medical Group clinics.
