Blake O’Brien, M.D., is an internal medicine physician at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center.
Blake O’Brien, M.D., is passionate about patients and the patient experience. O’Brien has neurofibromatosis type II, and went through a nine-hour brain surgery in 2007 at the age of 20 to remove a tumor on his auditory nerve. This was a life changing experience that spurred his interest in medicine. Since being a patient himself, O’Brien is very interested in making sure his patients feel he listens to their concerns and understands their personal goals.
His areas of interest include: healthy living, preventive health, diabetes, heart failure and COPD.
O’Brien graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City and completed his residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Fayetteville.
