The holiday season is a time to count your blessings, but we are painfully aware that many Oklahomans are struggling to provide the basic necessities for their families. For this reason, INTEGRIS Health teamed up with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to hold a food drive just in time for Christmas.

In all, we collected over a thousand pounds of food. See the facility breakdown below:

• INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center N.W. Expressway = 335 lbs.
• INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center Portland Ave. = 65 lbs.
• INTEGRIS Health Canadian Valley Hospital = 35 lbs.
• INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute = 115 lbs.
• INTEGRIS Health Corporate Office = 75 lbs.
• INTEGRIS Health Edmond = 85 lbs.
• INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center = 420 lbs.
                                                                                                           TOTAL = 1130 lbs.

Other INTEGRIS Health caregivers opted to donate money to the cause instead. Thanks to both the donated food items and the monetary donations, we were able to provide meals to 1,882 people. The Christmas food drive is a great example of the holiday spirit in action, and just one more way INTEGRIS Health cares for the communities we serve.
