Learn the role of the autonomic nervous system in health and how Qigong and breathing practices can improve your health and raise vital life force energy during a free public event presented by the INTEGRIS Health James L. Hall Jr., Center for Mind, Body and Spirit.
Participants will learn to address the underlying causes and types of stress and the keys to managing it including thoughts, nutrition, movement, breathing, hydration, sleep and connection from Gwyn Davis, wellness coach and founder of Mind, Body Fitness. In addition to the lecture, Davis will teach Qigong and a powerful breathing technique called the nine breath method.
The workshop will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, in Conference Room C at the INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute, 5911 W. Memorial Road, Oklahoma City.
