Her interests include the use of bilateral parathyroid exploration, minimally invasive techniques for adrenal tumors and surgeon-performed ultrasound for thyroid and parathyroid disease.
Burneikis received her medical degree from the University of Colorado. She completed her general surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. After residency, she completed an American Association of Endocrine Surgeons accredited fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.
