INTEGRIS Health Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic Heritage MonthINTEGRIS Health, Imelda Creations and El Latino newspaper invite you to be part of a multicultural week of celebration during Hispanic Heritage Month. The week long multicultural celebration will be Monday, Sept. 25, through Friday, Sept. 30, at INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center. 

During Hispanic Heritage Week we will highlight traditional Hispanic dishes and hold a special fashion show demonstrating traditional Latino American dresses. The fashion show will take place Friday, Sept. 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center cafeteria. There will be lots of music, singing and dancing; as well as the tasting of Hispanic desserts.

INTEGRIS Health’s Community Benefit Hispanic Outreach began in 2003 with the goal of improving the quality of life in the Hispanic community through education, resources and health-related services, and to understand cultural differences within the Hispanic communities. Hispanics have become the nation’s largest minority segment. The INTEGRIS Health Community Benefit Hispanic Outreach targets citizens interested in becoming healthy and productive leaders.
