He earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle and completed his general surgery residency training at Sunrise GME consortium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kim furthered his education with an acute burn and surgical critical care fellowship from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.
Kim’s areas of interest include pediatric burn, adult burn, wound debridement, excision, skin grafting, complex intensive care unit management, hypertrophic scar laser therapy, burn wound contracture scar releases, necrotizing fasciitis, pressure wounds and pilonidal cysts.
