Physicians, caregivers and patients in the Paul Silverstein Burn Center at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center got a surprise visit from Kane Hodder, the man behind the Jason Voorhees mask in the Friday the 13th series!
As a fellow burn survivor himself, Hodder makes it a point to visit different burn centers around the country as a way of giving back. He spoke with the patients, heard their stories and offered words of support and encouragement while he's in town for the Oklahoma City Horror Convention.
During his visit, the physicians and caregivers also gave him a tour of the unit and explained the different treatment options now available for burns.
We couldn't be more thankful for Kane's visit. He may play a villain on the big screen, but he is all heart in real life.
