Mohammad Hassaan Khan, M.D., is a new rheumatologist with INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Rheumatology.
His areas of interest include but are not limited to, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, scleroderma, gout and steroid injections for joint osteoarthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome.
“I enjoy seeing the satisfaction my patients get from their improved quality of life,” says Khan. “It makes my day when a patient reports that their symptoms have significantly improved, allowing them to pursue a hobby or interest that they were unable to do before due to their disease.”
Khan earned his medical degree from The Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. Following medical school, he completed his internal medicine residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies during his training. Also, he was chief resident during his internal medicine residency and chief fellow during his rheumatology fellowship. Khan’s patients can expect a comprehensive visit with a special effort to build rapport as a foundation for co-management of symptoms.
