INTEGRIS Health Wound Clinics at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center Portland Avenue, INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital and INTEGRIS Health Miami Hospital recently became the first wound clinics in the state of Oklahoma to offer the 3C Patch® Wound Management System. This new treatment option greatly improves the chances of healing chronic wounds. Suffering from a wound that won’t heal properly can cause health problems with serious consequences and impact activities of daily living.
The patented 3C Patch® System is an innovative, evidence-based biological wound therapy made entirely from the patient’s own blood.
“Having a condition such as a diabetic foot ulcer is so challenging to live through because it not only impacts peoples' daily life so drastically, but if it doesn’t get better, they are at severe risk for amputation,” said Guy Peterson, D.O., the medical director of INTEGRIS Health Wound Care Edmond. “That is not an outcome we want for anybody, and we are proud to have yet another new therapy available with the 3C Patch to treat these difficult wounds.”
At INTEGRIS Health, our mission is to partner with people to live healthier lives. Introducing innovative solutions like the 3C Patch allows us to provide the best level of care to improve health.
