She earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Puffinbarger furthered her training with a pediatric surgery fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of New York, located at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University.
Her areas of interest include Hirschsprung’s disease, imperforate anus, appendectomy, hernia repair, soft tissue mass removal, cholecystectomy and minimally invasive surgery.
