INTEGRIS Health Partners, LLC Accountable Care Organization (ACO) is excited to welcome Rural Advantage to its ACO for participation in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP).
Rural Advantage is a physician group consisting of 100 providers across 10 states. “We chose INTEGRIS Health Partners as our ACO for our 8,401 Medicare beneficiaries because they have an excellent reputation, mature analytics and offer actuarial (or risk) support during uncertain times,” says Charles James, the chief operating officer at Rural Advantage. “We also appreciate the fact that they have a strong rural presence which is aligned with much of our patient population.”
INTEGRIS Health Partners (IHP) is a physician-led network with over 1,800 providers across Oklahoma, that works to foster collaboration between primary care physicians and specialists. Fifty-two percent of the IHP network consists of independent physicians, working alongside employed counterparts to improve care quality and reduce costs. “We are focused on allowing independent providers to remain independent while providing the collaborative care for the patients they serve,” says Akil McClay, the vice president of INTEGRIS Health Partners. “Originally, this opportunity was only available to providers within Oklahoma, but we are expanding this to other communities across the nation to allow them to partner with us on this exciting journey to transform value-based health care.”
As part of the partnership, INTEGRIS Health Partners will help Rural Advantage stay ahead of and navigate CMS changes, make sense of shifting quality measures, reduce reporting burden with hands-on support and impactful technology, and use data to drive better outcomes. “Collaboration between trusted partners results in better outcomes and better health care and that’s what we are trying to create with our ACO,” says McClay. The agreement between INTEGRIS Health Partners and Rural Advantage officially begins Aug. 1. To learn more about the INTEGRIS Health Partners Accountable Care Organization, call 405-713-4476.
