Michael Padilla, M.D., is an experienced, board-certified orthopedic surgeon with INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Padilla’s areas of interest include sports medicine, general orthopedics and total hip, knee and shoulder surgery. His advanced training and vast experience include treating shoulder instability, complex rotator cuff tears and arthritic conditions around the shoulder. He also treats complex problems around the knee, including multi-ligamentous knee injuries (ACL, PCL, LCL, MCL), complex cartilage injuries and meniscal deficiencies.

“I love to see people get better and improve their quality of life,” Padilla says. “There is nothing like having someone tell me that they are doing things they have never done before or are doing things they have not done in years due to the state of their shoulder or knee.”

Padilla completed his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Stanford University. He then attended Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Following medical school, he completed an accredited orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California in San Diego and a sports medicine fellowship at Kaiser Permanente.
