INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center Welcomes  New Wound Care Physician

Melissa Harris, D.O., is a board-certified emergency medicine physician, specializing in wound care at INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Oklahoma and went on to obtain her medical degree from OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa. Following that, she completed her residency training at the INTEGRIS Health Southwest Emergency Medicine Residency Program.

“My passion is helping my patients achieve the best possible outcomes by combining the latest technological advancements with a compassionate, supportive approach,” says Harris.

Her areas of interest include acute and infected wounds, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, radiation tissue damage, non-healing surgical wounds, venous stasis ulcers, osteomyelitis, lymphedema ulcers, skin graft complications, flap failures and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
