For many children receiving care at the hospital, going door-to-door on Halloween isn’t possible. To make sure no one misses out on the fun, staff from across the hospital joined forces to host a festive Trick-or-Treat Train celebration, complete with decorated stations, costumes and candy for all.
Children dressed up, collected treats and enjoyed a safe, laughter-filled celebration surrounded by caregivers and staff who made the day unforgettable. “Every unit, every floor has different participants and different themes. We just want to bring joy to these kiddos, on an awesome holiday where unfortunately, they're at the hospital," said Josh Kemph, the chief hospital executive at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center. "We want to make it as pleasurable and enjoyable as if they're at their home in their neighborhood."
