Matthew Abbott, M.D., is joining INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Baptist Pulmonary Medicine as a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care medicine physician.
After completing medical school at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Tulsa, Dr. Abbott finished his residency in internal medicine at Duke University Health System in Durham, North Carolina. He then pursued a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Abbott provides care to patients both in the clinic and the hospital. He takes great pleasure in treating individuals of all ages and with various medical conditions.
His areas of interest include treating asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease, bronchiectasis and critical care.
"I find it most rewarding to witness patients regain their confidence in breathing, which is often lost during their illness," Abbott says. "It's especially gratifying when they can return to the activities they love the most."
Abbott offices at INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Baptist Pulmonary Medicine, which is on the INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center campus located at 3366 N.W. Expressway, Bldg. D, Suite 660.
He is accepting new patients. Call 405-947-3345 with questions or for more information.
