“Sickness is a part of life. It is one of the most humbling and vulnerable phases a person can go through. The opportunity to be involved in someone’s recovery is deeply rewarding for me,” Mendoza says.
As a primary care provider, Mendoza’s areas of interest include geriatric and senior health, minor clinical procedures and diagnosis and management of chronic diseases and conditions. Mendoza earned his medical degree from the National University of Honduras and completed his residency at the Saint Anthony Family Medicine Residency Program in Oklahoma City.
He further advanced his training by completing a fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, strengthening his expertise in caring for older adults. While he enjoys treating patients of varying ages, he finds fulfilment and joy in supporting the health and well-being of seniors.
