Today, patients at INTEGRIS Health Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation at INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center were excited to celebrate Caleb Downs, the 2025 Paycom Jim Thorpe Award Winner and standout safety from Ohio State University.
Caleb spent time meeting with patients, caregivers and staff, signing autographs and taking photos. He was incredibly kind and gracious, taking time to uplift and encourage those on their healing journeys.
We’re thankful for his visit and proud to celebrate such an inspiring athlete.
The Paycom Jim Thorpe Award is presented annually to the nation’s top defensive back, recognizing exceptional performance on the field, athletic ability and character — and Caleb truly embodies all three.
Paycom and the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame will honor Downs at the 40th Anniversary of the Paycom Jim Thorpe Award Banquet, taking place tonight at 6 p.m. in Oklahoma City.
