INTEGRIS Health Children's at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed families to our annual Teddy Bear Clinic!
This fun, hands-on event allows young “doctors” to bring their favorite stuffed animals to receive check-ups, shots, X-rays, splints, bandages and more—while learning about health care in a fun, playful environment.
"The Teddy Bear Clinic is a great way to get patients out of the room and to provide normalization here at the hospital,” said Lillian Lee, child life specialist at INTEGRIS Health Children's. “They’re able to be the doctor and to familiarize themselves with all kinds of different medical materials."
