INTEGRIS Health Celebrates Halloween with Trick-or-Treat Train

Halloween came to the halls of INTEGRIS Health Children’s at Baptist Medical Center on Friday, giving young patients and their families a chance to celebrate the holiday without having to leave the hospital.

Caregivers transformed hospital spaces with festive decorations, costumes and Halloween activities, creating a fun and welcoming environment for children receiving care. Patients were able to collect candy and treats while visiting decorated areas throughout the hospital, bringing a familiar Halloween tradition directly to them.

For children who are hospitalized during the holiday, participating in traditional celebrations like trick-or-treating may not always be possible. The annual Halloween event gives patients an opportunity to take part in the festivities while remaining close to the care they need.

INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center caregivers also joined in on the fun, dressing in costume and helping create memorable moments for patients and their families.

The celebration is part of the hospital’s ongoing effort to make the experience of receiving care as comfortable and positive as possible for children and their loved ones. For more information about INTEGRIS Health Children’s at Baptist Medical Center and its programs, click here.
