She earned her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in India before completing her internal medicine residency at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois and her gastroenterology fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital in Texas.
Koduru is passionate about helping patients manage chronic digestive conditions and improve their quality of life. She believes in educating and empowering patients to take an active role in their digestive health.
Her areas of interest include inflammatory bowel disease, GERD (acid reflux), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastrointestinal bleeding, gastrointestinal and esophageal motility disorders, liver disorders and women’s gastrointestinal health.
"I chose gastroenterology because it combines diagnostic problem solving with hands-on procedures while allowing me to build lasting relationships with my patients,” says Koduru. “Helping patients find answers, feel better and regain their confidence and quality of life is what makes this field so meaningful."
