Salman Nusrat, M.D., is a board-certified gastroenterologist with INTEGRIS Health, providing comprehensive gastrointestinal care to patients in Oklahoma City and Edmond.
Nusrat graduated with honors from Dow Medical College and completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
Following his fellowship, Nusrat joined the University of Oklahoma, where he served as associate program director of the gastroenterology fellowship and director of the neurogastroenterology program.
An accomplished clinician and academic, Nusrat has authored and contributed to numerous publications in gastroenterology and remains actively involved in national and professional gastroenterology societies. His clinical and academic interests span a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions, with particular expertise in neurogastroenterology and gastrointestinal motility disorders.
His clinical interests include colorectal cancer screening and prevention, colonoscopy, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), gastrointestinal motility disorders, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), chest pain, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, changes in bowel habits, liver diseases, and functional gastrointestinal testing.
