Community Service

From providing free clinical services to screenings and educational programs, INTEGRIS Miami Hospital invests significantly in community service programs and has dedicated more than 2,100 hours to volunteer efforts.

Programs

  • Blood pressure screenings: Free weekly screenings at businesses throughout the county.
  • Memory screenings: Free to the community by local mental health professionals.
  • Meals on Wheels: Weekday low-cost meal preparation for homebound community residents.
  • United Way: The agency’s largest employee contributions and support
  • Oklahoma Speaker’s Bureau: Speakers are available to the community for discussion of health care topics, hospital programs and services.
  • CPR classes: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation classes.
  • Job shadowing: Health care career exposure for youth.
  • Prenatal classes: Nutrition and postpartum education offered to expectant couples.
  • Hospital tours: Educational tours for students.
  • Tar Wars: Campaign designed to educate youth on the dangers of smoking.
  • Third Graders Go to Work: Third grade students spend the day at the hospital to learn about careers in health care.
  • Project Graduation and Safe Prom: Sponsorship of a safe graduation and prom parties.
  • Alzheimer’s support group: Alzheimer’s support for family members and caregivers.
