Part of the INTEGRIS Health Southwest Neuroscience Institute, our stroke center is open 24/7 with a team trained to act fast. When it comes to stroke, every second matters.
Our center uses the latest tools to diagnose and treat stroke quickly, including CT and MR perfusion imaging, transcranial Doppler, a portable CT scanner, telestroke technology and a dedicated neuro intensive care unit.
Clot-busting therapy - when a patient arrives with stroke symptoms, our team responds right away. Eligible patients may receive tPA, a clot-busting drug, based on proven medical guidelines. Speech, occupational and physical therapists begin care as soon as possible.
Minimally invasive intervention - we are one of only a few centers in Oklahoma offering intra-arterial thrombectomy, a procedure that removes or breaks up clots in the brain using a small catheter. It can be used hours after symptoms begin.
