Social Work Services at INTEGRIS Health Troy and Dollie Smith Wellness Center
Social work services at the INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute are provided at no cost to patients and their family members. We offer help with the following:
Completing an advance directive for healthcare (living will) or durable power of attorney for healthcare navigating the Social Security Administration
Sharing information provided by the Veterans Administration
Directing patients to helpful programs through the Department of Human Services
Obtaining secondary insurance for those with limited income and resources
Applying for programs that assist with copays and coinsurance
Referring patients to American Cancer Society programs, including Look Good Feel Better classes, free wigs, turbans and more
Referring patients to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society programs, including a $100 annual stipend for treatment-related expenses and copay assistance of up to $10,000 per year
Referring patients for medication assistance
Referring patients for assistance with medical equipment
Referring patients for assistance with home healthcare or hospice
Providing handicap parking permit applications for completion
Referring patients for assistance with transportation to and from outpatient appointments
Referring patients for home-delivered meals
Providing information about assisted living centers and long-term care facilities in the area
Providing information about community support groups available in the area
