The Flu vs. COVID-19
In a typical year, symptoms like fever, chills, cough, body aches and sore throat would most likely indicate you had the flu. But 2020 is NOT a typical year.
If you think you have either illness, talk to your doctor as soon as possible. If it’s COVID-19 there are isolation precautions you will need to follow and if it’s the flu there’s a brief time in which viral medication can be effective. Click here for more flu-related information.
There is a lot of information swirling around, and it’s difficult to sort through it all sometimes, but one thing is clear: wearing a mask helps stop the spread of the virus. It is well worth your effort to teach your children to embrace this important change in their lives.
