Leadership.

Vision — The Most Trusted Partner for Health

When INTEGRIS Health decided to develop a vision statement for the organization, we wanted feedback from our most valuable commodity — our employees. More than 1,500 INTEGRIS Health employees were involved in discussions or surveys to develop our vision.

We feel it says a lot about who we are — we value trust as a guiding principle — and we aspire to be recognized for that. It is a big vision, but it is also a very personal one. From front-line to physician, from management to medicine, each of our employees can, and must, resolve to be the "most-trusted" in our given areas of responsibility, day-in and day-out. It is a commitment to one another as well.

Timothy Pehrson

President and Chief Executive Officer, INTEGRIS Health

Timothy Pehrson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma’s largest health care system.

As President and Chief Executive Officer of INTEGRIS Health, Timothy Pehrson is responsible for leading all aspects of the health system. Pehrson joined INTEGRIS Health in August 2018 after an accomplished and distinguished career at Intermountain Healthcare. Pehrson brought to INTEGRIS Health a profound understanding of today's health care industry and its challenges, and more importantly, insights into areas of opportunity for sustainability, affordability, value, and even greater success. Pehrson, a system’s thinker with deep knowledge in how to improve value in health care, has been focused on transforming health care in Oklahoma. The key to that transformation is engaging caregivers in continuously improving the care provided at INTEGRIS. He successfully introduced and implemented the INTEGRIS Health Way across the system, which is an operating model used to drive caregiver engagement in continuous improvement. Under his leadership, the health system has experienced significant growth, including a hospital acquisition, a joint venture with groups that own and operate specialty hospitals, the opening of four community hospitals and an addiction and recovery treatment facility.

Prior to INTEGRIS Health, Pehrson served in a dual role as Regional Vice President/CEO for the North Region and Vice President of Continuous Improvement for Intermountain Healthcare. In his position as CEO of the North Region, he was the market leader of a five-hospital region in Utah and Idaho. Pehrson developed, piloted and applied strategies and initiatives in the North Region that were adopted throughout the enterprise. As Vice President of Continuous Improvement, Pehrson designed and implemented the system’s enterprise-wide continuous improvement effort, now called the Intermountain Operating Model, which resulted in a strong performance in safety, quality, patient experience, access, costs and growth. Under his Intermountain tenure, his hospitals were recognized 12 times as Truven 100 Top Hospitals, including the Everest Award, given to 17 hospitals across the country with the highest performance and fastest long-term growth over five years.

Pehrson graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in history and received a Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan.
