Whether your needs are for physical therapy, speech therapy or a combination of services, you will receive an individualized treatment plan with your goals in mind.

The INTEGRIS Health Aphasia Clinic brings people living with the disorder together in a support group fashion, allows them the opportunity to work on communication skills with a variety of conversation partners and gives them the chance to participate in special aphasia group activities devoted to specific interests. The group meets once a week.

Date and time: Every Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m.

Seating Clinic at INTEGRIS Health Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation

Our Seating Clinic is comprised of a physical therapist and an occupational therapist who obtain an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification. They specialize in assessing, measuring and fitting clients for wheelchairs who are in need of or who are currently performing mobility and mobility related activities of daily living primarily from a wheelchair level. This assessment process includes a physical or occupational therapy evaluation with the client’s equipment vendor present.

Team Approach

This team approach ensures the most appropriate wheelchair and size of wheelchair is recommended for the client based on their mobility and medical history. It provides the referring physician and payer source with necessary objective documentation of the client’s current mobility and equipment needs. The client and family are educated on the use of the equipment that best meets their needs. They also have the opportunity to trial similar equipment which may be recommended for them during their evaluation. We also have a Pressure Mapping System in our clinic to assess pressure on various wheelchair cushions for wound prevention.

Our aquatics program stands out for its unique approach. We deliver personalized care through one-on-one sessions with highly trained therapists in a relaxed, private setting. Water resistance boosts strength training, while buoyancy alleviates joint stress. Several conditions treated but not limited to include:

Our pool features a disinfection system utilizing hydrogen peroxide and ultraviolet light that eliminates all harmful chemicals. We are currently the only facility in Oklahoma with this type of system.
